Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: YA Book Review

Anna And the French Kiss crop
I loved Anna and can totally relate to that feeling of arriving to a foreign country and starting a new school! Luckily (or unluckily) my new school didn’t have a menu to choose from in a different language – we were all served the same thing!

This is a fun, easy read and I loved the banter and humour between the characters.4 Star

Can Anna find love in the City of Light?

Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection. So she’s less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year. But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the handsome Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he’s taken —and Anna might be, too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she’s waiting for?    — Extract from Goodreads.com

  1. ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS is one of my most favourite YA contemporary romances! Love it! I really enjoyed LOLA too (I totally swooned over Cricket), and I’m eagerly awaiting the release of ISLA later in the year 🙂

  2. I love this book! It makes me want to travel and of course fall in love along the way! Have you read Lola and The Boy Next Door yet?
